Meet Dr. Casey

Dr. Casey Attenberger, D.C., was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. After obtaining her undergraduate degree in biology and psychology, she moved down to Port Orange, the little beachfront town that is home to Palmer College of Chiropractic. She graduated in 2021 and is proud to open Impulse Chiropractic and Rehab here in the Debary/Orange City area.

She is passionate about patient satisfaction and helping each patient reach their individual goals. She entered this profession to spend time and energy with patients and encourage them to reach their full potential. She loves to work with an athletic population whether they are:

  • competitive athletes
  • recreational athletes
  • beginner athletes
  • new to an active lifestyle

She hopes to inspire others to become active and enjoy the recovery process as they increase their strength and control through chiropractic rehabilitation.

Through chiropractic school, she trained extensively through the Motion Palpation Institute which increased her adjusting skills and patient care tremendously. She took courses from the McKenzie institute for disc rehabilitation and pain management as well. She is prepared to use these skills for the right patients at the right time.

She is excited to run the practice and help it expand for the patients. She hopes to have patients that come in for their pain and receive relief but continue to come back in the future when they have new pain concerns, questions, or want to receive maintenance chiropractic care.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I want or need chiropractic care?

Our bodies go through a lot of turmoil both daily and over the years.  Keeping your joints healthy and functioning takes thought and care!  One way to do that, is exercise. However, you have to make sure your joints and muscles are ready to take on the loads that you impress upon them. Chiropractic care in our office not only evaluates and treats pain, but ensures that your joints and muscles are moving and stabilizing properly.  Therefore if you hope to stay healthy and mobile for years to come, getting chiropractic evaluation and care may be a great idea.

What is different about Impulse Chiropractic and Rehab?

Well, part of the name tells the story: Rehab. In this office, adjustments and muscle massage therapy are only part of the story for every patient. Exercise and rehabilitation are not only prescribed, but performed in office at every visit. This is the important part of care: the exercises are individualized and help each patient to reach their personal goals. This means your appointments are longer than other chiropractic appointments (we are an hour initially and 30-minute follow ups) in order to focus time and energy on patient’s particular cases and goals.  It is truly a different health care experience.

What are the main conditions you treat?

Many of you will enter our office with an initial complaint of pain. This may be back, neck, leg, glute, arm or foot pain. Some of you will come in due to numbness, tingling, weakness, or other problems. Many of you will then STAY to improve your function and reach other health goals. Those few of you will come into the practice to reach a goal of lifting heavier, running farther, or performing better. So, the short story is: we treat MANY conditions, but that is not the focus of our practice. Our focus is reaching functional and health goals instead.

What insurances do you take?

The short answer is none- we are an out-of-network practice. We do provide superbills upon request when possible. However, treatment in our office focuses on HEALTH care- and we will not tailor our treatment to include only your insurance benefits. We will spend extra time and effort with you as an individual due to our out-of-network model. We do not have to rush your appointments or fill up our schedule to be successful and keep the business open for YOU. We are proud to provide the highest quality care possible and provide value to each and every patient that walks through our door.

Dr. Casey is fantastic!

“Dr. Casey is fantastic. I have gone to several Chiropractors in the past. Dr. Casey’s initial consultation was one of the most thorough I have ever experienced. I went in with back pain and I feel great!! Thanks Dr. Casey!!”

If you are looking for an amazing chiropractor, look no further she is right here!

I have had the pleasure of watching Casey grow through out some of her time in school. Seeing her dedication and how caring she was showed me before she ever opened her doors how amazing she would be. At my first visit she walked me through everything. She was there to answer any questions I had on forms and made sure to go over them with me. She took detailed notes of my initial exam and then proceeded with a treatment plan. She even went through things I could do at home to help my progress. If you are looking for an amazing chiropractor, look no further she is right here!

Dr. Casey is an amazing Chiropractor!

Dr. Casey is an amazing Chiropractor. I have been seeing her since she was in clinic at Palmer. She has an amazing personality which helps make her amazing with her patients. She takes time to learn and get to the root of the problem. She would make sure that I didn’t have any more issues from one week to the next, and if I did, we would work on them.
